My name is Tammy Kendrick and I live in Sparks, Georgia. I started singing when I was 5 years old and learned to play the guitar at 9. I have always loved country music and I sing with a band locally. Funny, I have never given the band a name, but we do pretty good together anyway…. I have a degree in music and I’m a retired band director. My husband Royce and I have a 27-year-old son and a daughter 25. As for my music, I have always loved the traditional country sound with my inspirations being Loretta Lynn and Connie Smith. I have that Georgia country twang and so country just comes really naturally to me. The band and I perform at local festivals and at various opries and jamborees in the southeast. I have been singing professionally for the last 6 years and love every minute of it. Luckily I met Mr. Bobby G. Rice who produced my cd, who also records on the Century II label. Through him Mr. Allen Karl, Century II CEO decided he would sign me. I’m so excited about this new chapter in my life and hope everyone likes my music…
