The Barbara Blevins AirplayExpress Awards Page

Award winning singer/songwriter Barbara Blevins was born into a family of nine brothers and sisters in Mount Carmel Illinois. In the summer of 1990 Barbara started writing songs  which prompted her to visit Nashville Tennessee during 1992. Nashville is where Barbara and her songwriting partner at the time Clyde Birkla met with Kitty Wells band leader Keith Bradford. This meeting turned out to be  a huge success and lead to a songwriting partnership which is still in effect today. Barbara called their songwriting team “The Three Bee’s” after her brother finally quit the team leaving Barbara and Keith to continue with the songwriting leaving them to change their songwriting team name to “The Two Bee’s”. Recently Barbara decided after more than a decade or two to record  her own songs, this lead to the release of “Let’s Build A Love”. Nobody expected this song to do as well as it has thus leaving Barbara with a double platinum on the AirplayExpress Top 40 charts and a Top 5 on the Airplay Traditional Top 20 chart. For now and into the foreseeable future Barbara will be know as a singer /songwriter with a numerous #1 songs to her credit.
