Phill found love of country music from a very young age whilst hosting the music upon his grandfather’s fishing boat, cassette tapes of Slim Dusty, John Williamson & the Highway Men amongst the collection. Phill grew up just out of Wee Waa NSW upon a cotton farm where he would drive around most days chipping weeds out of the fields whilst singing along to the good ole country songs.
