Bernie Grass is a traditional country singer whose music is a rough-hewn variation on classic country styles. Born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, Bernie was the youngest of 5 siblings. From a young age, it was evident to everyone that he loved music. Bernie began taking singing and guitar lessons from veteran singer, songwriter, and musician, Pete Palazzolo. A few years later, through Pete, Bernie entered a local singing competition called Raise Your Voice Singing Competition and made it to the Top 6. He thoroughly enjoyed the experience and began regularly singing and playing gigs. He hooked up with the songwriting and production team of Rob Palombo and Walter Riggi and began working on his first original song. “It is a song loosely based on my life….some of the experiences I’ve gone through….basically a song that represents what I’ve been through and where I stand now”, Bernie says His debut single, “I Don’t Care” was released in early 2019 and received favorable reviews and radio airplay around the world. His new single, First Hundred Years” is set to be released mid Summer and is a nod to his father’s favorite saying. Bernie is proud of the hard work put into the new song and can’t wait to share it with his fans, friends, and family.
